I just got a notification on my computer from Adobe about downloading and installing an update for Flash on my computer. After doing this, I got another notification asking if I had read the Adobe Flash Platform Services Distribution Manager Software License Agreement. I went to visit the webpage they provided and the Category of links for the Flash Player did not include version 11, which was indicated as the purported download by the original notification. I can only expect that they have decided that some sort of 'corporate versioning' would result in even less people reading a cryptic 'distribution agreement.' It would be a falsehood for me to ignore reading the agreement and try to bypass the second notification with a few clicks.
The result. If you download an update and don't read the agreement and you lie about it... then don't expect to have a great experience in the future with this company. Adobe Flash agreement link: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/#flash_player
N.B.
I also remember Macromedia claiming they would never have a Flash installation update over 300Kb. Version 11 of the Flash player seems to be over 10x that amount.
I also tried installing an update for Winamp tonight based on a pop-up window. I clicked on 3 separate occasions with no result. Maybe I really do live in a technology black hole.
